Sankaran’s 5-Finger Method

Introduced by Gentiana Jurj (Ciubuc)

Rajan Sankaran’s Five-Finger Method represents the current synthesis of over four decades of development in homeopathic prescribing methodology. The method integrates five independent dimensions of case analysis — Superclass, Kingdom and Subkingdom, Miasm, Characteristics, and Keynotes with Source Qualities — into a unified coordinate system for remedy identification. Each dimension provides a distinct type of information about the patient’s vital disturbance, and when all five converge on the same remedy, the resulting prescription carries a degree of reliability that no single dimension can achieve alone.

Imponderable themes in a case of magnet

Author | Jonathan Hardy

ABSTRACT: A depressive patient vividly presents most of the themes and sensations characteristic of the remedy Magnetis polis arcticus and the group of Imponderables. These themes and their interrelationships are described in detail. A deep inner experience of opposite physical forces and sensations represents the essence of the Imponderable state: The positive experience of power, energy, movement, weightlessness and expansion in contrast to the painful experience of exhaustion, immobility, heaviness, density and compression.

Galvanismus and other electrifying remedies

Author | Doug Brown

ABSTRACT: In addition to visual disturbances, a patient with multiple sclerosis experiences an annoying tingling sensation in stressful situations, culminating in an electrical sparky feeling. The fern within us

Review by Franz Swoboda

Jan Scholten's new book ´Autistic Ferns` is an impressive collection of provings, case histories and charactteristics of remedies. Fern remedies not only help children with autistic disorders, but also with early childhood traumas that have shaped many of us into adulthood. Among our ‘personalities’, as Scholten says, there is probably also a ‘fern personality’.

Joshis’ MAP-System

Introduced by Wyka Feige

Bhawisha and Shachindra Joshi have pioneered the use of animal remedies in systematic homeopathy through years of ground-breaking work. Their MineralAnimalPlant (MAP) System not only includes animal remedies but also covers the entire Materia Medica within a single system. The basis for classifying all remedies is the structure of the periodic table of elements.

All explanations in this article are taken from the theoretical section of the book *Birds in Homeopathy* by Dr Bhawisha Joshi (M.D.) and Dr Shachindra Joshi (M.D.), December 2020 edition, as well as from the book ‘Homeopathy & Patterns in Mammals’ by Dr Bhawisha Joshi (M.D.) and Dr Shachindra Joshi (M.D.), December 2022 edition.

Vacuum in a patient with severe eructations

Author | Ghanshyam Kalathia

ABSTRACT: After an overview on typical characteristics and expressions of people with Imponderables as similimum and the differentiation from other groups of remedies, a case of Vacuum is presented. The patient complains of a pulling, sucking sensation in her stomach. The same sensation, combined with a feeling of emptiness, occurs when she is in a hurry or under stress.
