Christa Gebhardt

Chief editor

As a reporter and editor for various print media, particularly the "Süddeutsche Zeitung", Christa Gebhardt has always been keen to truly understand people’s actions and feelings and to do them justice through language, whether in politics, society or culture. In her encounters with people, the journalist found herself asking the same questions as homeopaths in their practice: How can one understand a person’s unique personality and individual life story, grasp it intellectually, relate to it emotionally, and bring it to life through language?

Together with her husband, the homeopathic doctor Jürgen Hansel, she gained a profound insight into the way homeopathy seeks answers to such issues. Following journeys through several countries and in-depth interviews with patients and their practitioners, they compiled 13 remarkable stories of healing in their book *Whole Again*, using them to explain key aspects of the homeopathic art of healing for a general audience. The book made Christa Gebhardt a sought-after homeopathic journalist. In 2009, Narayana Verlag entrusted her with the editorship of the newly founded international journal “Spectrum of Homeopathy”, which, under her leadership, earned a prominent place within the homeopathic community through both its content and its layout and design. As editor-in-chief, her aim is to preserve the unique appeal of “Homeopathic Spectrum” for the online edition as well.

Jürgen Weiland

Art Director (Photography & Web Design)

Jürgen Weiland is based in Bonn, Germany, where he runs his homeopathic practice since 1992. Over the years, he has built a professional life that bridges medicine, education, and visual creativity — a rare combination that shapes everything he does.

His love for photography grew during years of national and international teaching engagements, where travel opened his eyes to the world through a lens. This passion led him to serve as photo editor for "Spectrum of Homeopathy" (Narayana publishers) for many years, where he also contributed several articles as an author. Today he brings that same editorial sensibility and creative voice to Homeopathic Spectrum as Art Director, shaping the magazine's visual identity with care and intention.

Jürgen's journey into digital design began in 1992 with his first Apple computer, followed by his first website in 1998. Since then, numerous web projects have followed — each driven by his belief that great design is always personal, purposeful, and in service of the story it tells.
