The inner feeling of positronium patients is a difficult-to-bear feeling of vacuum and emptiness. They feel their bodies very little; internally, there is no feeling of being incarnated. Instead, they are in a constant state of flight or fight, in a mode of restlessness and being driven. Their addiction to constantly seeking novelty drives them to engage in many activities, but none of them are satisfying. To experience this moment, they celebrate wild parties, consume various drugs and lose themselves, often becoming sex addicts, in rapidly changing relationships.
Symptoms and Themes
Positronium is a remedy that can be recognised in patients in very different ways. Initial indications are severe anxiety, a desperate feeling of inadequacy and a sense of being “lost in the universe of possibilities”. At first glance, the practitioner might think of Stramonium and the nightshade family, or fungi, with acute or malaria miasma, when faced with the problems of panic attacks, feelings of lostness, and helplessness. The miasm of Positronium is the acute miasm, but with an additional dimension of deep despair from the syphilitic miasm.
When describing the main symptoms in more detail, typical expressions of mineral remedies and imponderables are used, which are not limited to humans: energy, existence, lack of ability in relationships, work, earnings, etc. The most obvious differential diagnosis here is, of course, Hydrogenium. That said, the remedy Positronium exhibits some very specific and characteristic themes that are directly related to the original substance, which I would like to outline using a few literally worded expressions from the five case histories.
These themes are:
- Anti-reality – the world of electrons and matter versus the world of positrons and antimatter.
- Two that fit together perfectly – electrons and positrons collide and annihilate each other
- Snapshot – at the moment of fusion, a flash of light is produced
- Annihilation – the moment when an electron and a positron – after the flash of light – no longer exist.
- Inner emptiness – non-existence, not being, is perceived as emptiness, also as a physical sensation.
- Creativity as the possibility of creating something new – positronium came into being with the Big Bang, with the beginning of the universe, at the beginning of creation.
- Unstable – nothing is constant, everything is acute.
Essence
The source substance, positronium, has three aspects that are reflected in patients and lead to excessive chaos in human expression. Patients are characterized by inner panic, restlessness, and great uncertainty. Nothing is certain; even their own existence is only tangible in the moment.
This inner feeling is largely concealed, more or less successfully, but their career and life history mercilessly reveal decades of uncertainty and volatility. Patients are creative and enthusiastic, but nothing is built on this foundation—no company, no family, no wealth. They are always on the move, restless, often sleepless, and learning from the great school of life. In doing so, they put themselves in mortal danger (drug abuse, adventurous life alone on the beach, victims of armed gangsters). For this, too, is an expression of their inner song, testing whether they exist.
They start many things and never finish a single one of their activities. They constantly change their circle of friends. Some of their fellow human beings try to “hold on to” them, to stabilize them, but they cannot sense themselves in routine, they do not feel alive. Everyday reality is difficult to bear and difficult to cope with. They are so preoccupied with themselves that life with its inner instability demands all their willpower and attention.
Their inner feelings are characterized by a sense of inability, a lack of foundation and structure, and are covered up as much as possible by external activity or drug abuse. It is a difficult feeling of vacuum, emptiness, and “not feeling.” They feel their bodies very little; internally, there is no sense of being incarnated. Instead, they are in a constant state of “flight or fight,” in a mode of restlessness and without inner peace.
Life means constant change, the addiction to “always new” drives them into many activities, but none are satisfying. It is always just about “a snapshot.” Relationships are mainly entered into for the decisive moment of sexual union, the moment of orgiastic “dissolution into pure energy.” To experience this moment, many possibilities are open to them in Western civilization: dating apps, cocaine, party drugs, Viagra, prostitution, one-night stands, etc.
This may be reminiscent of Medorrhinum, Hydrogenium, Vacuum, or “Cygnus X-1” – the black hole. Traditional family life and responsibility for children are diametrically opposed to this. Here, healing also means appreciating and living the human song, community, bonding, responsibility for fellow human beings and family.
Differential Diagnosis
Positronium is infinitely small, distributed throughout the universe, while Sol, the sun, is huge, powerful, and concentrated. Hydrogenium is in row 1 at the beginning of matter, while the radioactive elements of row 7 destroy matter and are converted back into energy and radiation.
Positronium, the possibility of existence
A feeling of “being very small,” even smaller than a grain of sand. Yet extremely high energy and a flash of light. The possibility of existence, analogously also the possibility of procreation, e.g., pregnancy, the germination of a seed. Unlike hydrogenium, positronium contains the destructive quality, including the desire to kill.
Hydrogenium
• “Do I exist – or do I not exist?”
• The structure of existence begins to form.
• “Am I energy or matter?”
• Need to be one with the universe
Sol
The sun consists of 75% hydrogenium and 25% helium, it emits enormous amounts of energy, and nuclear fusion takes place within the sun. An insane, indeed infinite energy radiates from it. The sun gives life. Patients describe an inner feeling of a strong energy that transforms, that has a great task.
Conclusion
PositroniumTaking Positronium brings a sense of calm. The world slows down. A feeling of grounding and simply being, of living everyday life peacefully. In our modern age, this fast-paced, disconnected, rushing through life is socially accepted, even promoted as "wokism" and a hype. Human beings, their very essence, are lost in the process. Homeopathy teaches us that the lived human song opens the gates to meaning and spiritual connection. When the human song is fulfilled, the "song of nature" can find constructive, creative expression as individual potential, as Dharma. My immense gratitude goes to Misha Norland, who launched this remedy and presented its proving to us on January 1, 2000, at the "Millennium Seminar" in Mumbai. Positronium can initiate healing in such a unique way for a deep sense of "not being," instability, emptiness, and depression.
